Speed Engineering Race Version Headers Now Available!!
Hawk's 3rd Gen has their stainless works headers for almost $1100, the newer Hooker ones for $1100, or the budget ones for $700. $700 is pretty high when so many similar headers are $200-$400. As far as I know the Hookers require their engine mounts. If any other options exist for LTs I've never seen them.
A better, and cheaper option for third gens would be great. Have you guys considered offering them?

t_raven: We believe our 25-1025-1 & 25-1026-1 might work on the 3rd Gens, however we have never personally done or seen a swap from a customer to verify. Those headers are tucked in very tight however, and should have enough clearance.
Thanks

Very pleased with them and how they fit. Lots of room to the frame, and they tuck up to the floor nice and tight. Number 3 plug lead is very tight, but I swapped the standard connector for a slimmer one and it works OK now.
I had some flanges laser cut from 5/16" stainless at work and stitch welded them to the collectors. Mated up to my existing x-pipe after altering the lengths slightly, spacing was the same as my previous SBC.
So yes, very pleased with quality and fit.

Want to replace the whole system with stainless at some point, but that can wait...
#3 plug is very close to #1 cylinder tube and even though I changed the boots to super skinny straight ones and put a heat proof sleeve over it, it's still getting burned.
I might consider putting a dimple in the pipe for a bit of extra clearance...
Would the high heat MSD style ones work?
