That sounds like a blast Ben, I've seen some in cockpit video from flights like that, I can't imagine actually being in control of that.
Nationals was kick ***, though there was a LOT of breakage; the T/F guys got stuck in the queue for like ~3 hours after they set their tune, so the track cooled down and they were all way off on tune (air and track were actually too GOOD, so they (almost) all had tire shake, badly. I'm not used to seeing 5-6 NHRA T/F cars break in a row.

It must have been something in the air, my car has ran a best of 13.79 at 101.4mph . Yesterday I could only run a best of 14.33 at 98 mph. Well I still beat drew 2 out of 3 grudge races , But that aint saying much.

DA wasn't great, 21-2400 that puts me about 3/10 off sea level & my best fall times. Azar totally didn't realize that was you in the white one I would have said hi. I saw you and switches race a few times though.

Part of the reason that thing may have run faster before is the same reason that it blew the engine up. Tuning.
With more time, I'm sure there is more in it (at least a couple tenths) without getting dangerous on the tune, but you said, and I quote, conservative.
And 2.2 sucks. Just FYI.

Haha, right on. You think you could take a looksie at the tune whenever you get free time in a couple weeks?
I know 2.2 sucks, my best 60 with the GTP was 2.2 and it ran a 13.6 at 105. Given that had cam, headers, and a 3.0. But Terry said this car ran a mid 13's at 108 (prior to blowing up) then he rebuilt it and added ported heads and we went super conservative on the tune. I still figured it would still be a 13 car.
No biggie, it's still comfortable as ****.

They were fr500s, but long story short I only got 3 out of 4 rims (supposed to be getting the other one in 2 weeks but I'm not holding my breath) and the ones I got were the wrong offset, and they refuse to do anything about it

I called Mergy at midnight...he was in bed! He said it wasnt a for sure race, meaning it wasnt officially set up. He is not afraid to race, knows he is going to get beat. He will definatley race him, but apparently was busy with other stuff. I guess the highly modded turbo RX-7 is anxious to race a stock 7 year old Corvette! lol
