Wheels are due here Monday. Nitro Dave's 90mm plate kit should be here Tuesday. Rear is still at least a week off, probably 10 days. I think Frost is going to tune my stuff. Probably do the dual-tune PCM, too. I'd rather have AutoCal, but it's still several months from being released to the public. If I can sell the ZR1s, might do the stand-alone fuel system, too. When does it stop?! This thing better be so fast it slows the rotation of the earth !!

Sounds like the majority of people are going to be coming out later rather than sooner this year

That would be a correct assumption nick unless you want to get cracking on the truck. Gotta a lot to finish in the interior plus I have some engine/engine bay issues to address and a rear end that needs some attention.

I've got the entire interior out of the Rx7 (again) right now. Blake's doing a complete engine bay wire tuck (which looks absolutely mind blowing) and is pulling ALL the unused wires, computers, relays etc (i.e. ABS, SRS, rotary related what-nots) out of the car, also to get it ready for paint here in a couple weeks. Then it's just cooling system hoses, cold side piping, and random odds and ends.

Meanwhile machine work on the Integra motor should be done this week, so that motor needs built and put back in, along with a tune. Plus, I've got Corry's Type-R to finish up, along with Compton's SR20 to build and Chris's Supra motor to build... So if I get time, I'll let you know about working on your truck

Hey, my car's already out...

Wheels look GREAT Scott. Very nice. That thing is going to be evil...

Nick's car is coming along really well. We'll have to get some pictures of the bay up. If that engine had fuel rail covers on it, you wouldn't even know there were wires under the hood...

J-Rod, saw you in your race car today. Go home and get the truck put together...

Yeah I wish. Taking a statics and dynamics class right now thats a real biotch. Spending most of my time studying . Hopefully it all pays off in 3.5 or less years. I have been getting some saturday time in recently. Got the roll cage done and dynomat(eastwood knock off) in and started putting new carpet in. After that I need to paint all my interior pieces and finish the wiring. blah blahblah need a good week off work to do all this.

Ramon is in the news?!?!?!

Ricky Martin: 'I Am a Fortunate Homosexual Man'

NEW YORK, N.Y. -- After years of keeping quiet about his personal life, pop star Ricky Martin has announced that he is gay.

"I am proud to say that I am a fortunate homosexual man," Ricky said in a message posted on his offical Web site. "I am very blessed to be who I am."

Ricky said writing his memoir and thinking about his two twin sons led him to go public.

"To keep living as I did up until today would be to indirectly diminish the glow that my kids where [sic] born with. Enough is enough. This has to change. This was not supposed to happen 5 or 10 years ago, it is supposed to happen now. Today is my day, this is my time, and this is my moment," he wrote.

Though the 38-year-old kept his sexuality private throughout most of his career, Ricky said he drew strength from that time.

"These years in silence and reflection made me stronger and reminded me that acceptance has to come from within and that this kind of truth gives me the power to conquer emotions I didn't even know existed," he continued. "What will happen from now on? It doesn't matter. I can only focus on what's happening to me in this moment. The word "happiness" takes on a new meaning for me as of today. It has been a very intense process. Every word that I write in this letter is born out of love, acceptance, detachment and real contentment. Writing this is a solid step towards my inner peace and vital part of my evolution."

Earlier this month, Barbara Walters told The Toronto Star that her 2000 interview with the "Livin' La Vida Loca" singer, where she grilled him about coming out, was a misstep on her part.

"In 2000, I pushed Ricky Martin very hard to admit if he was gay or not, and the way he refused to do it made everyone decide that he was," she told The Toronto Star. "A lot of people say that destroyed his career, and when I think back on it now, I feel it was an inappropriate question."

Ricky also Tweeted a link to his coming out announcement on his Web site, simply writing, "my life."

I never ever expected that Ricky Martin was gay....I am shocked.

Dropped the subframe out of my car tonight, to swap my F-body style engine mounts for C5/C6 pedestal mounts...

...and my $&*#$ turbo oil drain line is in the way of the mounts. Blah. Gotta drop the pan and have the Shamrock weld a new bung in a few inches forward. Oh well, the layout will be better, and these mounts are SOOOO much easier to work around. Still sucks.
