When you click the signal stalk, does the indicator on the dashboard light up but not flash? That would be indicate a burnt bulb or worn out flasher. The flasher for the turn signals is up under the dash just behind the radio (at least on the 2000 'birds).

Im not sure what it could be but it does not light up at all in the dash and no blinking noise but the signal lights (next to the fog lights) lite up fine. Whats a flasher? Lights where working fine tell I changed out the front two signal lights because one of them went out. No they just stay on no blinking no noise no nothing.

Since you just replaced the bulbs, I'd guess either a broken/damaged/shorting wire jarred into a problem position when you were changing the bulbs, or a problem with the flasher relays...

(The flashers are what turn the lights on and off to make them blink... there's one to control the turn signal flashing, and a second one to control the hazard flashing.)

The flasher is what you hear "clicking" when your turn signals are flashing. They're very inexpensive, so that's a cheap fix. The hardest part is just accessing them.

How do you install the flasher I just bought one now and can't find where to replace it

The flasher I bought is an LF12 Flasher is this the right one?
If not I will have to return it.

Hey thanks for the help I finally got the right part number and found where the flasher was hiding damn it was hard to find. It was a metallic color and the only way I found it was that I saw the hazard flasher on the oppisite side and it had a red piece going into it.
I just want to put this whole bad expirence behind me.

Where did you find the sockets, and how much?? The 'bird's right indicator keeps going out because of water in the lens. I want to seal it completely, but that's for another day. I do need new sockets. Hook a brother up!!

I got them from a scrap yard, they were pricy, $15, but it works alot better now, there website is www.americancamaro.com theyre based here in oklahoma. Chances are you'll have to call and just ask the best price they'll give it to you.
