I dont know. I've been in both, and the corvette seemed alot more refined. Especially the gauges.

I love Vipers but that is their ultimate downfall. We shall see come 2012 model year with the "new european styling" they're imposing on the snake.

some of you are smokin crack..the SRt10 has some of the best seats in the buisness and big white guages because....Its a race car you can drive on the street legally if you want to. It has the worlds largest production engine at 505 ci..Thats what it's purpose is..thats what it's for..you want a daily driver with an auto by a vette or if you have kiddies get the GTR..you want a street legal race car get the viper..That simple

With that said I think the SRT10 interior is actually pretty nice. expecially compared to the 04 vette I had..98 camaro i had and 99 viper I had and it was DEFIENTLY comparable to my nsx interior

You've said yourself the NSX was put together and laid out way better than the Viper.

the nsx uses better materials than any car Ive ever personally rode in to be honest..Every inch is supple leather/suede

heres my srt10 viper interior..I think it's awesome and the bad rep comes from the 92-2002 vipers interior

No....no its not. Its a Dodge that is built very poorly, has a huge motor...that still sounds like complete ***, big white gauges (WOOOO). You see Vipers all the time. There is no head turning for them (especially a yelllow vert one IMO ). Now if you get one with stripes then, yea people will look. But then again stripes are like a 15 year old attention ***** girl. Get you a GT2, GT3, Ferrari F430 Scuderia, 599XX, etc... Those are street legal race cars.

Id rather get the DD Z06 or GTR with its nice interior that will beat your race car (stock vs stock!!) why not have both!? a race car with a nice interior?? dont get me wrong I love vipers, but the interior in that car is CHEAP and look like sh*t, esp for the price of that car!!

You realize in the head to head comparisons between the 2006 c6Z06 and the 2006 Viper the Viper won more road courses right??? Z06 was a lil faster through the 1/4 mile but was criticized for fadeing brakes...loose steering and a clutch that would glaze like a candy apple..

now the GTR is at a differant level. A 2006 Viper or a 2010 Z06 aint touching it on a road course. But stock for stock they both trapp higher in the 1/4 mile meaning they are faster..BUT the GTR hooks better and can consistently get the better ET..

average for GTR =11.6 at 118
average for Z06 =11.7 at 125
average for srt10=12.0 at 121

in short you want to beat a GTR on a road course you better have a ZR1 or 2008 Viper..But acelleration wise 118 mph trapps is no biggie..

wallahn..Ill get the specs for the 06Z06 vs 06 Viper for ya....

F-Bodies are ****, Honda's are ricers, and Vipers are over priced "Race Cars" yay!

Can't we all just get a long :O) I hang out with people who have anywhere from 9 sec TT vettes, 9 sec nitrous Camaro to 740whp Honda Accords to a firehawk Trans Am w/ a 80mm turbo to 600whp Cobra's. We all like cars. I have beaten several turbo'd cars and been beaten by several turbo'd cars. All in all it's all for fun!

My Camaro is slow BTW.

here you go wallahn...One of the biggest myths about Vipers is they cant handle..The viper was running c6Z06 times back in 2003 a full 3 years before the Z06 ever emerged..They had close battle but over all the viper was a lil ahead on the road course while the z06 was a bit ahead on the 1/4 mile..All in all both great cars

IMO Vipers sound pretty good. But I agree with everything else you are saying minus the looks and sound. I think the newer Vipers look great, head-turners in my eyes

The issue is that I've always kind of associated Vipers, Ferrari, Lambo's, and Porsche drivers as the douchebags and pretentious people making up for a lack of something else.

That is what I have noticed with 2 of my dad's higher-up employees- one with a newer 911 Turbo (forgot what year) and one with a 2010 Viper. Both of them have to be the loudest in the room so to speak and they always talk smack to my dad about him buying a 2007 Solstice GXP he got for a steal and just wanted a cheap convertible that was somewhat fun to drive. He could have easily bought a more exotic car than his 2 employees, but he is one of those guys that doesn't see the point in spending $90k MSRP for a new vehicle and would rather retire earlier instead.

At the end of the day though, we all have different tastes and that is what makes us unique human beings. Thats just my .02

Why not have both..a race car with a nice interior?????First and formost a Z06 is a vette...If i have to explain the differance between rolling up in a...

Z06 7k a year produced from 2006-2010=35K
base C6 30K a year produced from 2005-2010=180,000

total is 185,000 vettes that look like yours

VS

srt10 viper 1-2k per year from 03-06 and 08-10

total is 9,000 vipers that look like mine

Again if I have to go there then you just dont get it and Id be wasteing my time..

but theirs no comparison in anything other than performance and even their the Viper with it's 7 second 6 speed world record is far beyond the capabilities of the vette..Only the Supra comes close (as much as I hate to admit it)sometimes it even takes the Vipers record for a while...
