Again, you are missing the point. I said the lsx was great for making up and near 1000whp but after that the 4v dominates with stock parts. For example there is a reason why you don't see the stock aluminium ls1 block making big power. Much less doing it with stock heads and crankshaft.

even an lt1 on slicks can almost run what you did. You got a good looking mach and it puts the power down well imo, but with the gears your running and slicks your time doesn't surprise me. A stock ls1 down to the paper filter can run almost what you did in the 1/4 on drs and trap higher. I've seen an ls1 with just a full exhaust and stock everything else with cheap all seasons run a 12.7 with like a 1.9 60. slicks make a huge difference.
