Not sure if it's been asked or not, but would increasing the front brakes stopping power and leaving the rears stock screw up the brake balance at all? Under hard corner braking on a track for instance?

Also, has anyone done any testing on how many feet it takes 60-0 stockers vs. these? This is most likely the next upgrade with my new found power, just curious about a few things.

Don't know if the abs system is a carryover from the gm parts bin for 2004-2006 gtos, but I design both 4/6 piston front and 4 piston rear mounting kits for them and just with the 4/6 piston front you feel the abs is at unease under some hard braking situations, once the 4 piston rears are installed all issues are resolved.

Does anyone know if the 2010 camaro ss calipers front and rear will fit a 97 camaro? Will the fronts fit like the ctsv ones do? and has anyone done the rear brakes?

No & no. You will have to sitch to LS1 spindles & drill out the mounting holes to 9/16".

What I have found is that with the larger brakes up front, you are able to push them harder before abs is ever engaged. When I have had to use the abs, it works fine. Thankfully it hasn't been that often.

I didn't read all these pages but I remember seeing somewhere that someone figured out how to make them fit a 17in wheel? Can someone link me to that thread? Need to see how hard it is before I make my wheel purchase.

You never brake in a corner on track, you get all the braking done prior to turn in.

These cars have way to much back brake in the first place. Bigger fronts help that.

i completely agree. i have not activated my ABS yet since my CTS-V brake install, but when braking to a quick stop is just fantastic now! around town it has a great feel to the pedal.

Thanks, I need to take better pics when the car is clean.

I have 18x10.5 C5Z06 wheels on all 4 corners. The brakes are GEN 2 CTSV with kore3 lines, C6Z06 stop tech rotors, and Hawk pads.
