Again, does anybody have a picture at the back of the firewall to show how close the heads are to the firewall?

They are close.

I'm using hydroboost so my clearance on the drivers side will be more than a truck with a standard booster.

Thanks for the pics phil. We're going to put a manual m/c on our build. And the heat and a/c stuff is gonna be gone.

Using a quick ratio gearbox, high output pump (for the hydroboost), double-D steering shaft, but stock from there out.

Default Lurkers LS1 Xtreme

Hi Guys; Just thought I'd throw in a couple pics of my '00 Xtreme. Its got a "00 LS1, LS1 type 12" front brakes, Exploerer 3.73 posi rear w/ 11' disc brakes and the complete leather (w/ wood trim) interior from a '00 Bravada. I've been driving it now for about 6 months with little or no problems. (Does anyone know of a Doctor who can remove lead from your right foot?)....Jim

A4 guys. What type of lines did you use for the trans cooler lines. I had a set for a fullsize with an ls and they hit everything. I have my stock lines at the shop and I guess I'll try those tomorrow. If anyone has run AN line sets does anyone make an AN fitting that will lock into the OEM quick connects on the transmission case? Later and happy turkey day.

I got the 4.3 lines to work. I just fabbed some an hoses since I am running a full external cooler and no radiator cooler.

I tore down the front suspension to put in all of the ZQ8 goodies off of my other truck. I need to replace all of the upper and lower control arm bushings. How much of a loss of ride quality and increase in noise will I get by going to poly urethane. This is a DD and I do not want the twitchy steering like an Fbody has. It great for smooth roads but out here in BFE your shoulders and arms hurt from constantly correcting the steering. My fullsize firmed up nicely but was not objectionable when I swapped to urethane on it.

I like my Poly front bushings. If you grease the hell outta them when you install them...they wont squeek at all. Its a little stiff...but overall I like it quite nicely. Def dont need to be correcting steering constantly...its just a lil more firm than stock

I guess It was here that I heard that the 2wd blazers use the same sway bar as a zq8 truck. If this is the case does anyone know what size it is so I can order bushings. Thanks
