Can anyone tell me it the wiring is the same for a 2008 ls7 and a 2010 ls7?
I have a computer from a 2008 that has been flashed to run without VATS and anything else not necessary. The harness came with the engine I bought (supposedly a 2010, but not sure) and I had it converted to a stand alone harness to install in a 56 Chevy Belair.
The problem I'm having is that the o2 sensors are not reading. When hooked to a laptop, they both stay right around 445.
Everything else looks like it's working on the laptop.

I see a few harness schematics for silverados, I was wondering if one of them are the same as a 2005 Tahoe???
If its not, can someone post it for that please? I got a 4.8L out of one that I am using for my swap...

I need to know if the stop lamp feed wire needs to have 12v when brake is pressed or is it like tcc wire that is12v constant and needs to get 0v when brake is pressed?

....but! Lots of questions. It's gonna be a bit long. Sorry!
I started my conversion on a 78 Malibu with a 97 or 98 F-Body LS1-T56 combo. Purchased the motor/trans/harness back in 2003 from a guy that was in the swap meet area at the Indy Super Chevy Show. He's located in New Albany IN so I drove down there to get everything I could. Body computer, cruise control, ABS sensors and harness, steering column, fuel tank with sending unit, I don't remember what else. He said "get what you want off the car, it's the same price".
Anywho, I started following John's method back in '04 but everything got put aside in '05. After a decade I'm finally getting it together. The F body oil pan has been trimmed, I have a 4.3 Monte fuel tank, the clutch pedal is in the mail from GSI, and I took the opportunity to ride up to Speartech to drop off the PCM.
I understand what needs to be done to modify my harness for stand-alone operation, and re-familiarizing myself with VSS issues as well as A/C, cruise control and whatnot.
Here's my questions (finally
), My fuel rail is returnless, I'm going with the Corvette filter/regulator. Was the pressure regulated on the F-Body in the tank? If so, does the PCM need to be modified to accommodate the Corvette regulator? Will the Corvette regulator work once I get it running and start going into the motor? Does performance suffer dependent upon proximity to the tank or engine? What type connectors are in the harness and what tool is everyone using to pull the pins from the connectors?

Ok so I was wiring up the fuse block and relays and I hooked up the Orange wires and noticed that the other side was not hooked up to anything and the diagram said it returns switch power to the pcm so I want to know where these hooks up.
