Problem after lowering springs install
Finally decided to get the 2002 WS6 lowered. I went with the Bilstein shocks, and the BMR lowering kit, which included the springs, adjustable panhard bar, and bolt on relocation brackets. Had the kit professionally installed. The front looks great, and measures 25 7/8" on both sides from ground to fender, measuring through the center of the wheel. The rear is where I am having a problem. My D/S rear sits at 27 1/4" while my P/S rear sits at 26 1/2". What could be causing the 3/4" difference, and how do I troubleshoot it? I tried searching for previous threads, and have had no luck thus far. Thanks.

Start with easy solutions first, make sure both isolators are in (if you retained them), both pigtails on bottom of springs, on perch of rear end, are facing towards the inside (shouldn't make a 3/4" difference though). Then check to see if your suspension isn't binding up on the higher/raised side. May just be as easy as the rear needs to settle more. Lots of factors though.

the lca could have been tightened with no weight on it and its binding . Put your *** in the car and have someone measure it and see where it goes. But if you want jack the car up the rear end and loosed the lcas up a little and then re tighten them . They could have been tightened with no weight on it and that could cause it . How much have you driven it .

Haven't driven it but maybe 25-35 miles. Thought it just may need to settle in some, but was told by a Tech at BMR via telephone that the springs have already settled as much as they ever will.

Like someone else said you need to check that they installed both pigtails the same direction and the isolators the same direction as well.
And the spare/tools weight almost 50 lbs if I'm not mistaken.

...and sadly that's not even half of them. I don't see many 4th gens that don't lean, you just don't notice it at stock height because there's so much gap on both sides. I've seen lots of explanations, but I've tried swapping things side to side and it doesn't help.

as stated chk that " both pigtails the same direction and the isolators the same direction as well"
if all chk out you may try swaping the rear springs side to side
you do not " have to live with it "
you may remove the isolator on the high side and use the " heater hose mod " on that side or on the low side leave the isolator and add the " heater hose mod " to that side

If all else fails, what is the prevailing opinion regarding using one of these spacers from Summitracing:

SS SLP2 nailed it on the head. If all solutions to the problem have been exhausted and you infact have both isolators, take the high side out and do the hose mod. It will solve your problem and the ride shouldn't change. I've seen plenty of fbodies that have done this and its been fine.
